farmer’s market fall desktop wallpapers

It’s officially Fall and that means seasonal desktop wallpapers – 15 of them, ya’ll! It won’t get chilly here in Florida until December/January, but the nights and mornings have been cooler lately, which is a nice change. I’m about to make a Target run, yay weekend! My beagle has been sick since July, lots of […]

The second reason is I have a kitten that has never seen yarn and two other animals that have (and LOVE to eat it). Third, I’m still prepping things […]

making christmas :: faux globe

It was a crafty weekend for me. Well, at least Saturday was. Sunday was lay-on-the-couch-and-eat-all-the-chocolate day. And, how do you know when egg nog is expired? (urp) I’ll recount my projects here up until Christmas, since none of the recipients are likely to read this. And IF they do… well they can just act surprised. […]

Trepuntozero civette sul comò

  Trepuntozero civette sul comò, that means “Threedotzero little owls on the dresser” This shop has been on my radar for a couple months. ADORABLE. I love the Jackalope to pieces! Pretty much anything tiny and felt and freakishly adorkable is going to get my vote. But, hey… I’m socially and politically conscientious that way. […]

Always 🤎 Take a deep breath, and a moment to be proud of all the progress you’ve made. 🤎 🤎 Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light. -Brene Brown Anytime I mix fruit and florals I am reminded of that one summer I painted fruit on signage for the local plant nursery where I also watered plants, and maybe definitely took naps on giant bags of mulch. 🤎 Braved a wisteria bumblebee gauntlet twice today on our walk. 🐝 Off to grandma’s house to check on the peonies. Everything seems to be blooming late this year. It’s been a day, y’all. When my daughter fell asleep earlier than usual for her nap I knew she wasn’t feeling 💯. Took her temp and she had a fever. 🤦🏻‍♀️
