I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that I’m not very fashioney. Unless “ragamuffin” has come into style? It’s true I tend to favor pajamas and flip flops. I’m looking for a happy medium by way of comfy summer dresses and sandals. The styles above are all from Anthropologie, which is way out of my price range but I do like how they style the outfits and that’s why I’ve started there for inspiration. I will be hopping to all the thrift stores in my area soon. Although, you have to be in the “mood” for that kind of thing I think it could be a lot of fun altering pieces to “make them work”. Skirts, unfortunately are out of the question… since I am a bit hobbit shaped, they do nothing for me except make me look shorter and wider. Bleh.

I’m planning lots of indoor activities over the next few days. One of which is purging my closets and making a list of needs and wants and then going on the hunt. Another list – one that I will actually share on the blog– is a list of projects I want to complete before the end of the year. Time to put that Make & Do board to good use. I’ll post it in the next week or so and then as I complete each project I’ll post about it, essentially crossing things off the list (one of my favorite things to do is cross things off of my lists)!
